Neighbors
A couple with a newborn baby face unexpected difficulties after they are forced to live next to a fraternity house.
"OOOOOOO" 7/10 Snap
The Summer blockbuster is packed with hilarious moments, classic film references, and endless parties. Mac Radner (Seth Rogen) and his wife Kelly (Rose Bryne) are a young couple trying to raise their newborn when a fraternity moves in next door. The Delta Psi fraternity, lead by Teddy (Zac Efron) and his VP Pete (Dave Franco) are trying to find their place on "The Wall" by throwing the most memorable party. Annoyed with the noise, and building a personal vendetta against the fraternity, Mac and Kelly declare war on their neighbors, from smashing pipes, to shooting fireworks at cops.
The film has many new bright "ideas" creating an interesting viewing expierence. A notable moment of the film is it's De Niro Party, where members of the frat mimic famous De Niro characters. Although the film was jammed full of laughs, there is always a few parts that seemed either to forced, or just out of place. The film tries to have a comedic ending with an underlying message, but it is lost, as we see zac efron modeling before a clothing store. Regardless the film has moments that will be remembered, and is an enjoyable experience.
